David,
I did in fact laugh alot during the movie, and thought it was very nicely done. After reading your book (Psychic Warrior) and studying from the training course, I thought the movie was a typical Hollywood movie on a “possible” reality. Serious undertones, funny lines, and an ending that allows those that do not believe to maybe change their mind, or not; and for those that do believe it was triumphant.

Dave,
I took course in RV and have one of your bookes. The movie was entertaining due to George, but I thought of you during the viewing and wondered about the crazy antics of the movie. I did some strong phyiscs things during my work with RV and a friend contacted a Nigual in Mexico for me to slow down with the physic approach due to to the possiblity of out-of-control events. I have some native American blood line.

Hello David:

Glad you reviewed “Men Who Stare At Goats”, had a hunch you might. I have just seen it at a theater in Australia and felt there were a couple of elements in the movie that may have been taken from the pages of your book. These elements I felt were changed enough so there could be no legal recourse. I did do a story some years back on remote viewing and found the topic and the man I interviewed both interesting and extraordinary . . . When are you making a movie of your life?

I saw this film in Bangkok in January, at the end of my trip in Asia. I must say I laughed much and enjoyed the film, with that quiet knowing that it was a parody, not the real truth. Your review gives nice insights into the deeper nuances around the film and the book (which I have not read/nor do I intend to read). By the way, we miss you at Omega. If you are ever in the area, let me know.

What is the connection between Scientology and remote viewing? How is it that all the early researchers and pioneers were Scientlogists, and why is the name of the organization rarely invoked in the same breath as RV?

Best review I have read. Even though you were very complimentary of my work we both know this adventure included many who were there and will not be mentioned…maybe ever. It took thirty years for me to get mentioned … and that is the nature of transformational work. You know I am sure.
